USAID’s TB Innovations and Health Systems Strengthening (TBIHSS) Project, implemented by FHI 360, in collaboration with  the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) brought together more than 50 beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) for the first Family Development Session (FDS) on TB Awareness using the module: Sama-sama sa TB-Free Pamilya and Active Case Finding of Tuberculosis in Mandaue City, Cebu.

Facilitated by USAID’s TB Innovations and Health Systems Strengthening (TBIHSS) Project, 4Ps beneficiaries received basic information on tuberculosis. They also learned the importance of healthy habits to help their family be healthy and TB-Free.

Three million 4Ps beneficiaries will be reached by end of December 2023 by the FDS to increase awareness and stimulate health seeking behaviors for early TB diagnosis and treatment and eventually prevent the TB spread.
