Bhushan Tuladhar is the Chief of Party for USAID Kathmandu Clean Air Program (Swachchha Hawa), which is being implemented by a consortium led by FHI 360. After graduating with a Masters’ degree in Environmental Engineering from Cornell University, Bhushan has worked for various government and nongovernment organizations for over 25 years, mainly on urban environmental issues such as air pollution, solid waste management, sanitation and climate change. He has served as the Chief Technical Advisor South Asia for UN-Habitat and has also led local NGOs such as Clean Energy Nepal and Environment and Public Health Organization. He has also served as the Head of Kathmandu Metropolitan City’s Environment Department and a member of its City Planning Commission.
