USAID’s TB Innovations and Health Systems Strengthening Project, through its implementing partner FHI 360, partnered with Enchanted Kingdom (EK) and the Sta. Rosa City Health Office to promote the importance of discussing TB in the workplace and introducing the Healthy Workplace Framework.

 
Chest x-ray made available at Enchanted Kingdom! Over 100 Enchanted Kingdom employees have received free chest x-rays as part of the TB in the Workplace initiative of USAID’s TBIHSS Project. The mobile x-ray van is equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) software that can detect presumptive TB cases in as little as five minutes. 

USAID’s TBIHSS, through its implementing partner FHI 360, has partnered with Enchanted Kingdom (EK) and the Sta. Rosa City Health Office to scan more than 400 Enchanted Kingdom employees for active TB disease on February 15, 2023, introduce TB in the workplace, and present the rationale, and objectives of the Healthy Workplace Framework. Dubbed as “Enchanting Ride to a Healthy Pilipinas,” and as part of the World TB Day Celebration in March 2023, EK will stage a series of educational show about TB to educate children, families, and their larger communities about the disease.

   
Enchanting ride to a Healthy Pilipinas! Approximately 500 employees from the Enchanted Kingdom attended the TB 101 seminar which aims to increase knowledge of employees on TB and address common misconceptions about the disease. During the lecture, some participants shared their experiences and knowledge about TB and even pledged to be co-advocates in disseminating TB awareness in their communities.
