USAID’s TB Innovations and Health Systems Strengthening (TBIHSS) Project, through its implementing partner FHI 360, conducted a 2-hour dissemination forum on the newly deployed Comprehensive Alert System embedded in the ITIS and ITIS Lite web and mobile platforms participated by notifying physicians and health partners nationwide.
Ms. Michelle M. Lang-Alli, Director of USAID/Philippines Office of Health, addressed the participants as she delivered her welcome remarks, expressing words of appreciation to everyone who made the event possible.
The open forum hosted by a multifaceted panel from the DOH, PhilCAT, The Medical City, and FHI 360 provided technical expertise and answered questions on the comprehensive alert system.
On February 23, 2024, USAID’s TBIHSS led by FHI 360 co-organized a dissemination forum on a comprehensive alert system that mirrors ITIS and ITIS Lite web and mobile applications for greater reach. In partnership with the Department of Health (DOH), the Philippine Coalition Against Tuberculosis (PhilCAT), and the Philippine Medical Association (PMA), the forum aimed to demonstrate how the comprehensive alert system can address the decline in the treatment success rate of TB nationwide.
